We recently went to production with our latest Commerce Server 2007 implementation: PetSupermarket.COM This Commerce Server application make use of Microsoft's StarterSite SP2 code base utilizing technologies of Framework 3.5, SQL Server 2008, Commerce Server 2007 SP2, VS.NET 2008, Windows 2008 among others.

PetSupermarket.COM implementation highlights include: (1) a custom Commerce Server 2007 pipeline component to integrate with 3rd party external vendor YourPay for credit card processing, address validation and tax services. (2) WCF technologies to implement an interface with Microsoft Commerce Server and UPS WorldShip for product shipping services. (3) WF workflow to integrate Commerce Server orders with Home Grown AS400 ERP application.

WeightWatchers.COM, following Monster.COM, is our 2nd production deployment of Commerce Server on a 3-Tier Service Oriented Architecture where Commerce Server instance is exposed as a service via Windows Communication Framework (WCF) to different consuming clients. This single Commerce Server instance provides electronic presentation of products and services, online ordering and invoicing, automated customer account information and online payments and transactions to many different client applications, both external and internal to WeightWatchers.
